A first outing for a team of 6 in a golf fixture this term; Eastbourne take on Hurstpierpoint at REGC. Aman Shah and Charl Spies led the way, with a great initial drive. Charl made his debut and despite blowing away a few cobwebs, the opposition played fine golf and won on the back 9 in the worsening weather. Amelie Knight also made her debut alongside Sasa Duffilova, playing well but again the weather scuppered efforts and the match finished early going into the back 9. All was left to Will Rennie and Olly Bearcroft to find a win and after flying around the front 9 and being in the lead, the worsening conditions led to some stray shots and the opposition were given hope - battling back to win 3 and 2 for the visitors in some heavy rain.

The team now turns its attention to the West Sussex Invitational and the Smarden Bell, before returning to their HMC matches.
